     Financial Reality provides research, commentary and a working financial example for people who have retired or are planning to retire “soon”. Boomers, in other words. Our goal for the site is the same as our own – to help people enjoy a comfortable retirement while still preserving assets for their children.

Byxbee Group
    Byxbee Group is a small group of independent contractors who cooked up the idea for this association while dog-walking in Byxbee Park in the Baylands near Palo Alto, California.

We work on projects we care about - financial literacy, volunteering and community service, voting and democracy, teaching and learning, science and technology, sailing, retiring gracefully.

Technology plays an important part in all our projects. The internet has enabled communication, discussion, research and collaboration without regard to time or geographic location. For this we are grateful. Our support and participation in many of these important and interesting projects would not possible or practical without the worldwide web.

Nutrition, Health and Learning
    This pro bono project combines our interest in technology and its power to connect with learners everywhere. Where ever and when ever the desire or the need to learn occurs, free open courseware is available. Connecting learners and resources is a critical element to the global benefits of this project.
